An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support the delivery of a major infrastructure upgrade project within a complex operational environment. This Electrical Design Engineer role is ideal for someone who enjoys technically challenging building services projects, working closely with project teams to deliver electrical designs through detailed design and construction phases. The successful Electrical Design Engineer will join an established engineering team delivering critical upgrade works, with a requirement to attend site three days per week to support project coordination and delivery activities. The Role As an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll be involved in: Delivering electrical building services design across major infrastructure projects Producing electrical calculations, technical reports and design documentation Supporting projects through detailed design and construction stages Coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams Attending site meetings and technical reviews Supporting design changes, project updates and technical queries Assisting with installation support and construction-stage activities Ensuring designs comply with relevant standards and project requirements What They're Looking For Experience as an Electrical Design Engineer within building services environments Strong electrical building services design capability Experience producing detailed electrical designs and calculations Good understanding of UK building regulations and industry standards Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Experience on infrastructure, transportation, aviation or complex commercial projects would be beneficial but is not essential.
