Overview
Oversees the planning, execution, and completion of security construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Coordinates and manages resources, contractors, and stakeholders, while monitoring project progress and addressing issues as they arise. Ensures compliance with safety regulations, prepares project documentation, and reports, and facilitates effective communication between all project participants.

Responsibilities
* Leads the EMEA Security Systems Projects team and provides direction and mentoring to others.
* Manages security systems projects (new office, office downsize, retrofit, upgrades, decommission) in the EMEA region.
* Supports Oracle's Global Real Estate Project Managers within the EMEA Region and the Regional Security Director to Design & Develop Security Scope of Work & Bid / Tender Documents.
* Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with management.
* Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
* Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
* Confirms system performance by designing and conducting tests.
* Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements to ensure projects meet the timeline/First Day of Business.
* Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
* Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
* Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.
* Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.
* Maintains project database by writing computer programs, entering and backing up data.
* Maintains a safe and clean working environment by enforcing and complying with company's policies, procedures, and regulations.
* Maintains contingency workforce engaged through the supplier.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
* Responsible for writing technical specifications & developing Security Scope of Work & Bid Tender Documents for Security Vendors to bid from.
* Will be required to travel to field offices regionally for project coordination meetings with real‑estate managers, security director, architects and contractors.
* Strong organizational & communication skills required. Self‑motivated, multitasking across multiple projects from design to commissioning.
* Must be based in Reading, United Kingdom and fluent in English.
Qualifications and Experience
* Strong security background in designing access control and CCTV systems.
* 5+ years of experience working within the security industry.
* Ability to produce clear technical specifications and bid documents.
* Working knowledge of Lenel OnGuard & Software House CCURE access control systems and Milestone & Genetec video management systems for CCTV.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2020 or higher (desirable).
* Word processing and Excel spreadsheet skills required.
* Professional associations within the security industry such as ASIS membership & CPP licences desirable but not required.
* 8 years of relevant experience and a BTech/BE degree preferred.
