Job Description
3. Manage the lettings portfolio, including advertising properties, arranging viewings, and processing applications.
4. Negotiate and prepare tenancy agreements in line with legal requirements.
5. Maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
6. Ensure rent collection is timely and handle arrears recovery when necessary.
7. Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate repairs and maintenance.
8. Stay up-to-date with lettings legislation, including deposit protection schemes, health and safety regulations, and tenancy laws.
9. Lead, train, and supervise lettings staff to ensure high standards of service.
10. Prepare reports on portfolio performance, market trends, and tenancy renewals.
11. Work closely with other departments such as sales and property management to deliver a seamless customer experience.
The Successful Applicant
12. Proven experience in lettings or property management.
13. Strong knowledge of lettings law and property regulations.
14. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
15. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
16. Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office.
17. Leadership and team management experience is a plus.
18. Professional qualifications in property management or related fields are advantageous.
