Role: Senior PFI Contracts ManagerSalary: £65,000 £85,000 + car allowanceBonus: 12.5%Location: Leeds (Hybrid + UK travel)Contract Type: PermanentOverviewWe are working with a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to support the appointment of an experienced Senior PFI Contracts Manager. This is a senior advisory role with a national portfolio of PFI contracts, ideally suited to a candidate based in or around Leeds, though work will cover projects across the UK.The role will focus on managing and advising on PFI contracts, with particular emphasis on handback, pre-handback, and contract performance issues across a diverse asset base.Key Responsibilities
* Act as a Senior PFI Contracts Manager, providing expert contract management and advisory support to the SPV
* Manage a portfolio of UK-wide PFI contracts
* Lead and support handback and pre-handback activities, including identifying risks, obligations, and mitigation strategies
* Provide support on contractual, technical, and commercial issues, including liaison with surveyors and technical advisors
* Advise on contract compliance, performance management, and lifecycle obligations
* Provide advisory pricing of work, ensuring value and alignment with contractual requirements
* Apply and interpret NISA guidance, particularly in the context of handback and lifecycle obligations
* Engage with stakeholders across public and private sector bodies

Experience Required
* Proven experience as a PFI Contracts Manager
* Strong knowledge and understanding of PFI, from either the public or private sector perspective
* Hands-on experience with handback and pre-handback scenarios
* Familiarity with NISA guidance
* Comfortable working in a national-facing role
* Strong stakeholder management and advisory capability
