Business Development Representative – Process Equipment Gloucestershire – Permanent – Full-time – Hybrid We’re supporting a well-established engineering manufacturer supplying specialist process equipment into highly regulated industrial sectors. As part of continued commercial growth, they’re looking to strengthen their sales team with a commercially focused Business Development Representative. This role will play a key part in developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and growing revenue across OEM, EPC and integrator accounts. The Role: • Managing and developing customer relationships across key industrial markets • Identifying and converting new business opportunities within engineering-led sectors • Supporting early-stage customer engagement from enquiry through to order award • Working closely with engineering and commercial teams to coordinate technical and commercial proposals • Managing and maintaining CRM activity, pipeline updates and forecasting • Supporting key account growth and market expansion activity • Producing commercial proposals, quotations and customer presentations • Attending customer meetings, site visits, exhibitions and industry events • Monitoring competitor activity and market trends to support business strategy • Supporting customer issue resolution and maintaining strong service levels • Driving structured sales activity to support pipeline growth and order intake The Person: • Experience in a business development, sales or account management role within engineering/manufacturing • Strong customer-facing communication and relationship-building skills • Commercially driven with a proactive approach to winning business • Experience managing multiple opportunities and sales cycles simultaneously • Comfortable working with technical products or engineered-to-order solutions • CRM experience and structured pipeline management • Good organisational and time management skills • IT literate (Excel, Word, CRM systems) • Experience within process equipment, filtration or industrial systems (Desirable) • Experience working with OEMs, EPCs or industrial integrators (Desirable) Apply Today: To apply, send your CV to george.jackson@imtresourcing.com or call George Jackson on 07528 225856 / 01242 804102.
