Job Description
We are currently working in partnership with a public sector organisation in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for a Fraud and Investigations Manager within their Legal and Governance Directorate.
This is a full-time (36.5 hours) position on an initial 3-month temporary basis, offering circa £400 per day, inside IR35 via an Umbrella company.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading complex fraud investigations within the public or regulated sectors, a sound understanding of relevant legislation, and a track record of delivering effective anti-fraud strategies and frameworks.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Designing and embedding a robust framework to identify, prevent, and respond to fraud and misconduct across the organisation
2. Leading and coordinating investigations into allegations of fraud, corruption, or whistleblowing concerns, ensuring cases are managed to a high professional standard
3. Developing proactive initiatives to reduce fraud risk, including the use of data analysis and risk-based reviews
4. Reviewing and updating key policies, procedures, and guidance to reflect changes in legislation and best practice
