A truly exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Officer role within the Planning Policy & New Communities Team, to support officers with arranging meetings, circulating agendas, raising purchase orders, paying invoices, note taking, document management and so much more. This is a vital role to assist the project management of the Uttlesford Local Plan.
The Project Officer will work with the Head of Planning Policy and New Communities on the district’s Local Plan; a document which will set out the vision for how Uttlesford should develop and grow until 2041, taking into account the unique nature of the district and also climate change.
This role will be demanding yet varied and rewarding and to be successful you must have excellent interpersonal and IT skills. You will also have a confident, methodical and organised approach to your workload, be calm under pressure with the ability to work to strict deadlines.
