We are a small business, trading since 1996. We sell promotional merchandise and direct mail services. Around 80% of our clients are based overseas. We’re looking for an experienced part time bookkeeper to join our busy team, and help keep our finances running smoothly. This is a flexible role with the opportunity to work around your schedule – ideal for someone looking to balance out work with other commitments. Responsibilities: * Entering sales and purchase invoices and payments. * Making payments to suppliers. * Dealing with customer overdue accounts. * Checking supplier invoices costs against orders. * Bank reconciliation. * Handling the monthly payroll. * Running the VAT quarter end and submitting VAT Return. * Completing various admin tasks associated with the bookkeeping function. * As we’re a small business, you would take full responsibility for taking care of the books, and would report directly to the directors. Requirements: * Previous bookkeeping and some payroll experience is essential. * Formal qualifications are not strictly necessary, experience is more important. Though preference may be given to candidates with AAT or ICB qualifications.
