The Role:
* Oversee day-to-day operations of the accountancy practice, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
* Manage a team of professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and support
* Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the practice's performance and growth
* Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and analyse financial data
* Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
* Foster strong client relationships and identify opportunities for business development
The Person:
* Proven experience in a managerial role within an accountancy or financial setting
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Sound knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and practices
* Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., accounting software, Microsoft Office)
* Relevant qualifications in accountancy would be preferred
