Chaudhary Group (CG) is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial function of its Auto Business in Brighton, UK. The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, governance, and performance of CG’s Auto Business operations across Europe.
This role requires a highly experienced finance professional with demonstrated expertise in managing complex, multi-jurisdictional environments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving sustainable financial growth aligned with corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic financial leadership to support business growth, expansion, and long-term value creation
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across European operations
Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and applicable local regulations
Establish and maintain strong internal controls, risk management frameworks, and corporate governance standards
Oversee treasury, cash flow management, capital structuring, and funding strategies
Drive financial discipline, cost optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives
Partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership to support strategic decision-making and business transformation
Lead financial due diligence, mergers & acquisitions, and investment evaluation activities
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, financial institutions, regulators, and investors
Build and develop a high-performing, geographically dispersed finance team
Qualifications & Experience
Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent
15+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant exposure to senior leadership roles
Proven experience in the automotive industry or related manufacturing/industrial sectors
Demonstrated capability in managing finance functions across multiple European jurisdictions
Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and regulatory environments within Europe
Experience in driving financial transformation, process improvements, and organizational scale-up
Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment
