Automotive Development Coordinator - £25K - £28K per annum We are Mantra Learning, the UK’s leading Logistics learning and development organisation. The Manchester site is well established as the largest specialist logistics training facility in the UK. We also strive to improve learners’ life prosects by offering programmes such as mental health and wellbeing, digital skills, English and Maths Through our two key brands of The Job Gym and The National Logistics Academy and utilising several different types of government funding that we have successfully secured, we help thousands of learners each year to gain new skills. We work with some of the biggest brands in the country, including Aldi, Wincanton and AO, delivering approximately 400 Apprenticeships, over 2500 Large Goods Vehicle licences and 1,100 Forklift Truck licences each year. The role: Your primary focus will be to ensure learners are making progress in accordance with delivery plans and milestones within apprenticeship schemes of work, and our traineeship study program offering. You will also be expected to contribute to continuous improvement within the department and support team members. Your duties include but are not limited to : To complete learner reviews of progress with the involvement of employers, learners, mentors, tutors and other involved parties Ensure all programme elements are completed in accordance with the apprenticeship schemes of work and within the agreed time scales required to meet gateway/complete EPA. To identify and develop learner ability to identify, improvement of profitability and growth, and opportunities to provide their employer with timely and impactful returns on their investment. Maintain centre records / systems in accordance with the requirements and ensure that all records are accurate, legible and in the approved format. To ensure learners and employers are engaged and involved in reviews of progress and target setting, to drive learner progress. To complete timely learner reviews in accordance with ESFA requirements. To ensure the learner has sufficient opportunities to gain new knowledge, skills and behaviours to progress and that they are encouraged to achieve their goals in a firm, fair and friendly manner. To schedule and conduct, study program progress/welfare reviews in centre and on placement with learner/employer. Engage with employers to secure traineeship placements. To ensure all workplace mentors and managers are familiar with our delivery plans, schemes of work and requirements of the apprenticeship programme, including the monitoring process. Achieve key performance targets. Develop excellent communication links with other inter-related departments. To monitor health and safety at the workplace. To promote all Mantra Learning Ltd products. You will be expected to contribute to continuous improvement within the department and your team. Experience: Training and coaching experience. Experience/understanding of the Automotive industry. Administration experience. Personal Skills and General Competencies: Highly successful self-starter. Strong decision-making skills, self-motivated and enthusiastic. Strong spoken and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate at all levels. Committed individual who possesses energy and focus. Customer focused, with business sense. Effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Innovative and open to learning. Education and Knowledge Full driving licence is essential. Intermediate IT skills using Microsoft Office packages. Educated to NVQ level 2 or equivalent (Desirable). Math and English level 2 or equivalent (Desirable). AET qualification (Desirable) can be gained once employed.
