Overview

RPS Abingdon-On-Thames, England, United Kingdom. The Business Support Administrator role is based in Cambridge, with consideration for applicants located in Bristol, Cardiff, London, Edinburgh or Oxford. This is a maternity cover position.


About The Team

RPS Consulting UK & Ireland ltd (RKC) is a 1,700-strong multidisciplinary consultancy focused on the built environment and part of the TetraTech Group of companies. Environment is a business unit within RKC, with around 200 staff across the ECGE, Ecology and Environmental Management disciplines.

What You Will Be Doing

* Offering administrative support to all Business Unit team members – typing/editing documents and presentations, as well as printing, binding or scanning.
* Provide support to Business Unit team members, e.g. resolving hardware, software and kit issues by directing to relevant contacts.
* Ordering of PPE and equipment for your team.
* Organising travel arrangements.
* Booking external training for individuals or teams.
* Supporting the organising and logging of staff training.
* Assisting with Marketing tasks where required.
* Arranging issue and return of computer equipment and mobile phones for new starters or leavers.
* Assisting the Business Support Manager with Integrated Management System administrative tasks.
* Supporting the new starter induction process.
* Supporting Project Managers on project setup and invoicing via the Project Finance team.
* Maintaining COB and Pipeline data updates (weekly).
* Supporting the payment process of supplier invoices.
* Ensuring timecards and expenses data are completed weekly and approved.
* Undertaking any other duties that assist the Business Support Manager or Operational Directors or improve office efficiencies.

* Understands RPS objectives and development plans and their significance for own development.
* Proactive in obtaining feedback on performance from line managers and colleagues to determine personal strengths and development areas.


Qualifications

* Typically 3-5 years plus of experience.
