About the Opportunity
Were currently working in partnership with a well-established and growing law firm in Chester to recruit an Employment Paralegal to join their busy and supportive team.

The Role
Youll play a key role in supporting the employment team on a wide range of matters, including both contentious and non-contentious work.
Responsibilities will include:
* Assisting solicitors with Employment Tribunal matters
* Supporting cases involving:
*
o Unfair dismissal
o Discrimination
o Redundancy and whistleblowing
* Drafting and preparing legal documents, including:
*
o Employment contracts
o Settlement agreements
o HR policies
* Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries
* Managing case files and maintaining accurate records
* Liaising with clients in a professional and confident manner
* Supporting with general administrative and case management tasks
This role offers excellent exposure and responsibility early on, making it ideal for someone looking to progress to a training contract or further legal qualification.
What Were Looking For
* Law degree (LLB) or equivalent
* Previous paralegal experience (ideally in employment law, but not essential)
* Strong interest in employment law
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning
Desirable Experience
* Previous experience in a legal environment
* Exposure to Employment Tribunal work
* Understanding of UK employment law basics
