Morson Talent are currently looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to join our client on Sizewell B power station.
Reporting to the Client Project Controls Group Head, PPM and/or Operations Manager, you'll play a critical part in the planning and delivery of complex, high-value workstreams-ensuring project controls meet the stringent standards and requirements of EDF Generation.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage project schedules incorporating risk, change, resource and cost.
Create and maintain project plans across the full lifecycle, including early development and design stages.
Support delivery of the client's ALR2 commitments within the Nuclear Defueling team.
Establish and monitor a cost and resource-loaded, logic-linked baseline plan.
Capture project budgets and phasing to support investment decisions.
Develop robust Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Project Control Structures (PCS).
Integrate third-party schedules and data into the master schedule.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels, producing intelligent analysis and monthly reporting.
Ensure schedules are aligned with client processes, templates, and procedures.
What We're Looking For
Minimum HNC/HND, ideally in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
Proven experience across the full project and programme lifecycle, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the latest version of Primavera P6.
Demonstrated ability to lead planning efforts in highly regulated industries (ideally nuclear or energy).
Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a team-oriented and results-driven approach.
Experience in risk and change management in large capital infrastructure projects
