Our Client is a leading global specialist for coated high-quality plastic films, sheets and other plastic products. Our Client is seeking to recruit a Development Technician to support the functions within the R&D laboratory. Responsibilities of the Development Technician * Lamination of exterior films using hot-melt adhesives and primers. * Carrying out various material testing. * Evaluating and analysing pigments and developing pigment formulations. * Assisting with New Product Development and trials. * Using accelerated weathering cabinets to test samples in simulated conditions. Profile of the Development Technician * Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science or Polymer Science (essential). * Knowledge of Colour Chemistry/Pigment Technology (desirable). * Experience of working in a laboratory environment (desirable)
