About Egg

Egg is a rapidly growing B2B clean‑tech company within the Liberty Global Group, delivering solar panels, battery storage, EV charging and public sector solutions to businesses and the public sector.


The Role

We’re looking for a Sales Account Executive to join our dynamic team in Sheffield. This junior business development role is ideal for someone passionate about clean energy and looking to grow their career in sales and account management.


Key Responsibilities

* Identify and engage new business prospects across the UK, focusing on the public sector and clean energy sectors.
* Manage and grow relationships with existing Egg clients, ensuring exceptional customer experience and retention.
* Utilise AI‑driven tools to research, qualify and bid for public sector opportunities.
* Work closely with marketing and pricing teams to tailor proposals and campaigns for prospects.
* Attend client meetings, site visits and industry events as required.
* Contribute ideas to improve sales processes, decision‑making and market agility.
* Collaborate with colleagues in Sheffield at least two days per week for team sessions, planning and innovation.


About You

* Relevant experience in business development, prospecting or telemarketing, ideally within solar, EV charging or clean‑energy sectors.
* A self‑motivated individual with a can‑do attitude and a focus on delivering outcomes.
* Customer‑focused mindset, considering how actions impact the customer experience.
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, comfortable engaging a wide range of stakeholders.
* Strong organisation and self‑management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
* Comfortable using CRM systems, AI tools and digital platforms to manage pipelines and opportunities.
* Passionate about sustainability and excited to be part of a growing clean‑tech business.
* Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
