Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for inventory control and systems reconciliation? Join our dynamic Finance Team in Nuneaton as a Stock Accountant, where you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding the financial integrity of our stock and inventory systems.
This is a critical role supporting the management of finished goods held at third-party warehouses and on-site manufacturing inventories, including bulk cheese, ingredients, and packaging. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and accuracy of our operations and the satisfaction of our customers.
Responsibilities
* Ensuring the financial integrity of finished goods stock held at third-party distribution warehouses and overseeing on-site inventory, including bulk cheese, ingredients, and packaging materials.
* Managing weekly stock reconciliations between the AX ERP (Dynamics 365) system and the 3PL WMS (third party Warehouse Management System).
* Investigating and resolving system interface discrepancies to maintain data accuracy.
* Ensuring full compliance with Saputo Group Inventory and Financial Control policies.
* Supporting and guiding the Stock Co-ordinator team in their daily stock management activities.
* Collaborating with manufacturing and prepack teams to ensure timely and accurate stock records.
* Delivering clear, timely, and accurate stock reconciliation reports.
Candidate Profile
* Part-qualified, or currently studying towards qualification.
* Experienced in working within a diverse and fast-paced finance team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level; experience with AX Dynamics or similar ERP systems is a strong advantage.
* Analytical with excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
* A confident communicator, both verbally and in writing, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently to meet tight deadlines.
* Proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to challenge existing processes.
