Restorative Practice: Torbay adopts a restorative practice approach, being the first UK local authority with Registered Restorative Organisation status. A dedicated restorative practice lead provides training to ensure staff confidence and competence.

Knowledge
 * General knowledge of child and family options.
 * Childcare legislation and its impact.
 * Current CP practice, assessment frameworks and CLA materials.
 * Relevant child care issues and evidence‑based application.
Experience & Qualifications
 * Direct work with children, young people, families and professionals.
 * Autonomous and team‑based working experience.
