A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Marina Manager to join a busy coastal marina and visitor destination on the Dorset coast. This role is ideal for someone with strong operations, customer service, and team leadership experience who enjoys working in a dynamic marine, leisure, or hospitality environment.
You will support the management team in the day-to-day operations of a high-profile marina, ensuring excellent customer service for berth holders and visitors while maintaining safe, efficient site operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the day-to-day operational management of the marina, ensuring all activities run smoothly and efficiently.
2. Coordinate, allocate, and monitor the work of the marina team to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly operational checks are completed.
3. Ensure all administrative tasks and operational processes are completed accurately and on time.
4. Assist with staff rota planning, ensuring appropriate coverage during weekends and peak periods.
5. Conduct daily team briefings and support the motivation and development of staff.
