Social Worker (Support for Families)

Responsibilities
* Assess the needs of families and develop individualized support plans.
* Provide counseling and emotional support to family members facing challenges.
* Connect families with relevant community resources and services.
* Advocate on behalf of families in interactions with schools, healthcare providers, and legal systems.
* Monitor and evaluate the progress of support plans and adjust as necessary.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
* Maintain detailed and confidential case records and documentation.
* Conduct home visits and family interviews to gather pertinent information.
* Facilitate access to crisis intervention services when required.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work or related field.
* Valid social work license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
* Proven experience working with families in social work or related roles.
* Strong knowledge of family dynamics, child welfare, and community resources.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage complex cases with sensitivity and professionalism.
* Competency in crisis intervention and conflict resolution techniques.
* Proficiency in maintaining accurate case documentation and reports.
* Capacity to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £29.45
