Mechanical Project Manager (Building Services)
We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading M&E Building Services contractor with a proven track record delivering high-value, technically complex projects across the commercial and industrial sectors. Based in Slough, this role offers the opportunity to lead mechanical packages on major schemes where quality, safety, and client satisfaction are key.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking contractor delivering projects typically ranging from £250k to £10m for blue-chip clients across the South East.
The Role
As Mechanical Project Manager, you will:
* Oversee projects from design and procurement through to installation, commissioning, and handover
* Manage site teams and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to maintain strong communication and project alignment
* Monitor budgets, progress, and programme milestones
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety and company procedures
About You
* Experienced Mechanical Project Manager (or Mechanical Contracts Manager) within Building Services
* Demonstrable experience managing mechanical installations across commercial, industrial, or public-sector environments
* Strong technical understanding of HVAC, ventilation, and public health systems
* Confident managing multiple stakeholders including clients, consultants, and subcontractors
* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
* Financially and commercially astute with a focus on quality delivery
* Data centre experience beneficial but not essential
Remuneration Package – Mechanical Project Manager
Base Salary: £80,000 to £90,000 (reflective of experience)
* £5,000 Annual Travel Allowance + Expenses
