Urgent support required. We are looking for Health Care Workers to support a young boy called Zac, who has a rare cardiac condition requiring 24/7 care and support. You will be supported by a Nurse or another experienced support worker at all times.
This is a great opportunity to develop your skills as a health care worker with ongoing support from healthcare professionals. You will also provide essential support to Zac's family within their home, making a meaningful difference.
About Zac
My name is Zac, I am 7 years old. My mum is seeking excellent caregivers to help look after me so she can rest and attend to other needs.
I have four siblings, and our home is lively and fun. Having a good sense of humor is essential.
Due to my medical needs, I require substantial support during both day and night. Full training will be provided, and my care and emergency plans will detail my needs.
You will work under my mum’s guidance to meet my needs and will be accountable to her in all aspects of your work.
I enjoy being active, playing with toys, music, singing, watching cartoons, and especially being outdoors. You will need to plan activities that keep me engaged and support my development. The best part of the job is that I love cuddles!
Preferences:
* Recognized, accredited care qualification with children
* Experience with tracheostomy care
