The job involves carrying out a variety of factory skills safely and efficiently, using complex equipment to ensure production is maintained to the highest standards. The role of Production Operative is diverse and offers full training, including operating the line (packing or process), completing daily routines, performing checks, and reporting defects.

What will you be doing?
Operate complex machinery on the frying or packing lines within a crisp manufacturing environment, ensuring safety and efficiency in meeting production targets.
Monitor online data systems to maintain high production standards, reporting defects or issues promptly.
Apply problem-solving skills to resolve machine-related issues and minimize downtime.
Complete daily routines, carry out quality checks, and maintain accurate records following site procedures.
Receive full training and ongoing support, working as part of a friendly, collaborative team at our Leominster factory.

We’d love to hear from you if you can evidence the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
Previous experience in manufacturing or the food industry (highly desirable)
Level 2 in Food Safety for Manufacturing (desirable, with bespoke training provided)
A good standard of literacy and numeracy in English
The ability to take ownership and accountability
The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and accuracy
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
