Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, this role will play a key part of our success journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
Key Responsibilities
* Responsibility for growing and retaining your existing customer base and sales across your territory, working with licensed bars, restaurants, hotels, and pubs.
* Ensure correct balance of prospect calls to existing stockists to drive customer wins.
* Utilise all the Carlsberg Britvic commercial levers available to ensure that new distribution is both won and secured through contracts.
* Strengthen existing relationships within your territory and grow your network by identifying new opportunities for business.
* Effectively plan and manage the working day to ensure coverage is achieved at key trading times.
* Live within the territory and have a full driving licence.
* Demonstrate excellent customer service, sales, and interpersonal skills to create first‑class customer relationships.
* Be ambitious with a drive to progress your career within Carlsberg Britvic.
* Be commercially aware—demonstrate ability to identify and capitalise on sales opportunities, negotiate deals and close transactions.
* Experience of sales in an FMCG, retail or similar environment would be beneficial.
* Clear communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information, influence decisions and build rapport.
* Time management—excellent organisational skills to prioritise tasks, manage diary and meet sales targets within deadlines.
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment, adaptable to change.
* Problem‑solver—proactive approach to identifying challenges and developing creative solutions to overcome obstacles and drive sales growth.
* Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within cross‑functional teams.
* Be passionate about the industry, keeping up to date with new trends and industry news.
