Our combined expertise in the fields of substance use, mental health, housing, criminal justice, and employment support enables Adferiad Recovery to meet the needs of our most vulnerable with a single, unified, and comprehensive approach. Hours: 37.5 per week Salary: £28,742.18 per annum Based at: Prescoed/Usk Role Purpose: Leading and supporting the Substance Misuse Team at HMP Prescoed and Usk to deliver quality substance misuse services in accordance with service specifications and contract requirements. Provide support and guidance to caseworkers involved in assessment and care planning to identify and deliver the appropriate support and interventions to reduce risk of harm and support offender rehabilitation. Monitor caseworkers’ performance to ensure that accurate and comprehensive records/data collection is maintained. Take a lead on the ongoing delivery and improvement of the recovery programme and contribute towards integrated treatment pathways and the identification of gaps in the system. Ensure that caseworkers are competent practitioners, able to provide accurate advice and information regarding substance use and associated lifestyle behaviours that reduces the risk of overdose, reduces the spread of Blood Borne Viruses, promotes healthy living, and minimises the potential risks and impact of drug related crime and disorder on the wider community.
