Job Description
Reporting into the HR Compliance Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing HR Compliance administrative support on a day-to-day basis, ensuring all queries and requests are dealt with effectively and efficiently to support employees and managers. This role within the HR Administration Team focuses on ensuring security compliance checks are undertaken and processed accurately, including pre-employment and higher-level security checks. It is a hybrid role, requiring presence at our Warwick HQ one day per week and on an ad-hoc basis.
Our Business Support teams deliver vital services to ensure the continued success of our business divisions, including HR, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, Legal and Commercial, Estates and Facilities, Core Technology, Security, IT, and Fleet. Every team member contributes to building and maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure, connected and protected 24/7.
What you'll do:
* Ensure employees complete all pre-employment/induction documentation within the first 3 months of joining Telent.
* Verify right to work checks are received prior to or on the first day of employment.
* Initiate additional security clearance checks with MOD/Warwickshire Police and liaise with employees.
* Resolve discrepancies from pre-employment checks in collaboration with HR Admin Team Lead/HR Service Delivery Manager/Security.
* Liaise with employees regarding queries or information related to security checks.
* Check the validity of right to work documents.
* Ensure all pre-employment and induction documentation is complete before employees pass probation.
* Assist HR Admin with document preparation as needed.
