Working collaboratively with other team members, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer care to our clients and their pets. Our receptionists are very important to us and are an integral part of our team. To thrive in this role, you will need to be caring, empathetic, extremely organised, thorough, and a confident and efficient communicator.
Responsibilities & Duties include:
* Greet and acknowledge all clients as soon as they arrive in a friendly and courteous manner.
* Deal with clients' requests in a professional and timely manner, following practice protocols as necessary.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and patient records on the computer.
* Record all payments and transactions on the computer.
* Action emails, request clinical histories, and liaise with external services.
* Book appointments, operations, and visits.
* Understand the importance of teamwork and communicate effectively with all team members.
* Understand client needs and consistently provide a high level of service.
* Deal with telephone enquiries promptly, using good telephone technique, and achieve resolutions.
* Ensure that the reception area and desk are clean, tidy, and odour-free.
* Handle and process veterinary insurance claims.
Your Working Pattern
Full-time - 40 hours per week. The rota may include days/hours between:
