My client, a notable Managing Agent, is looking for a Building Manager to oversee operations of a site in excess of 200,000 sq ft. Key qualities include being 'customer focused' and delivering on ESG, NET Zero, and SMART buildings. You will have an ABM reporting to you on site.
You should have previous experience managing a site of a similar scale, as well as experience in setting and managing service charge budgets and overseeing health and safety on site; therefore, IOSH or NEBOSH certification is essential.
In addition to managing service partners on site, you will be required to engage with end users (tenants) daily. Clear communication, whether written or verbal, is imperative to operate this flagship site effectively.
The service delivery focus is on enhancing the tenant experience and partnering with service providers to foster a 'one team' ethos. Being 'customer centric' is vital for this role. There are opportunities to get involved in other developments, and the organization invests in employee development.
