The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating for residential and commercial construction projects and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
This is a key role with the opportunity to influence project strategy and help shape future growth.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for residential, commercial, and utility projects\n\n * \n\n Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates\n\n * \n\n Lead tender submissions, cost planning, and value engineering exercises\n\n * \n\n Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather and validate pricing information\n\n * \n\n Provide support during the handover of successful tenders to the project delivery team\n\n * \n\n Evaluate risks and offer solutions to mitigate potential cost or delivery issues\n\n * \n\n Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market prices and trends within the construction sector\n\nKey Requirements\n\n * \n\n Proven experience in a Senior Estimator role within the construction industry\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of residential and commercial construction methods and cost structures\n\n * \n\n Familiarity with façade and utility works is desirable\n\n * \n\n Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail\n\n * \n\n Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite\n\n * \n\n Strong communication and negotiation skills\n\n * \n\n Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary and benefits package\n\n * \n\n Opportunity to work with a forward-thinking, people-focused contractor\n\n * \n\n Involvement in a broad range of exciting and high-profile projects\n\n * \n\n Supportive team environment with a strong emphasis on training and career progression\n\n * \n\n A company culture built on trust, collaboration, and quality craftsmanship
