No experience is required, although it is desired. Perhaps you have cared for a relative or neighbour and have gained transferrable skills, or maybe you have always known you want to enter a setting where you can use your strong people skills.
Working in a SEN school is rewarding, challenging, and no two days are the same.
Qualities we look for in a SEN Student Support Assistant:

Highly desirable but not essential qualities we look for in a SEN Student Support Assistant:
* Any level of BSL
* Any level of Makaton
* Experience with moving and handling
* Experience with personal care
* Experience with assisted eating and drinking
Information on SEN Student Support Assistant role:
* Pay - £78 per day (rising to £85 per day with National Living Wage increase)
* Hours - 8.30am-3.30pm Monday-Friday. Part-Time or Full-Time. You are in charge of your work diary
* Year- EYFS - KS5 (ages 4-19)
