Keep Team Leader & other management updated on team performance as required. Assist with Capacity Planning and organise staff when requested, demonstrate good commercial awareness of the overall Production financial budget. Demonstrate and promote best practice when it comes to 5S, correct use of Quarantine & reject parts and corrective actions. Provide monthly timekeeping and attendance records in absence of Team Leader. Give guidance and instruction as appropriate to Production Team members whilst acknowledging that the individual will need to express their creative judgement from time to time. Attend Meetings as relevant. Production Support Work with the Team Leader to review incoming works orders daily, using the company software to assist with planning workflow & always encourage optimised and efficient approaches to work being carried out in the factory. Work with the Team Leader to maximise the use of resources (people, equipment and materials) whilst minimising disruption to the workflow and reducing bottle necks. Adhere to existing and any new stock management processes, work to reduce waste and keep accurate records. Liaise with and support other departments to deliver quality products, on time and in full. Ensure accurate data recording of machine records i.e. running time and down time, Pink Sheets, P-Spec. details including signatures and initials as required. Health, Safety & Quality Ensure that all staff are aware of their own responsibilities and safe working practices are adhered to. Proactively problem solve issues. Work with Team Leader to ensure that equipment and machines are well maintained and fit for purpose, undertaking or delegating simple maintenance to ensure that they run at full capacity, liaising with the maintenance department to schedule inspections and repairs as required. Adhere to the company's Quality Policy (ISO) including the Product Specifications. Support all Corrective Action/5-Whys and Improvement Action Reports. Develop yours and others skills in Quality including Final Inspection & the creation of F.A.I.R. reports. Ensure that the factory is clean and tidy at all times. Liaise directly with the Team Leader, Production & Operations Managers raising areas of concerns or ideas for improvement on a regular basis. Seek advice and support as necessary.
