We're working with a welcoming secondary school in Halifax looking for a passionate Science Teacher to join their thriving department. Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, this is a fantastic opportunity to share your enthusiasm for science and help students develop the skills they'll carry far beyond the classroom.
From explosive experiments (the safe kind!) to those lightbulb moments when a tricky concept finally clicks, you'll play a key role in making science accessible, engaging, and memorable.
The role
Teach Science across KS3 and KS4
Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire a love of learning
Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the curriculum
Differentiate learning to support students of all abilities
Work closely with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practice
Support students in achieving strong academic outcomes and building confidence in their abilities
We're looking for someone who:
✔ Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
✔ Has experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
✔ Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
✔ Can build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
✔ Brings energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to every lesson
✔ Is committed to helping every student reach their full potential
