Overview
A Maintenance Engineer / Multiskilled Engineer / Maintenance Technician is required for a manufacturer in Bingley, West Yorkshire. The role will be multi‑skilled with a mechanical bias, and be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of various production equipment / machinery on site.
Package
* £42,000 basic salary
* 18% shift allowance
* Overtime at 1.5×, or 2× over 4 hours
* Shift Pattern: Week 1 – Monday to Friday 6am/2pm, Week 2 – Monday to Thursday 2pm/10pm, Call‑out rota 1 in 3
Role
* Static role responsible for all planned and reactive maintenance of production machinery
* Diagnosis of mechanical issues and electrical fault finding
* Keep track of and log maintenance activities daily, alongside recommended planned maintenance
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations during maintenance activities & repairs
* Site based in Bingley, West Yorkshire
Requirements
* Proven experience in a maintenance position, ideally as a multi‑skilled engineer, maintenance engineer or maintenance technician
* Mechanically biased with some electrical knowledge; training will be provided on the electrical side
* Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering or Engineering qualification
* Live within a commutable distance to Bingley, West Yorkshire
