We have a fantastic opportunity for experienced Support workers to work with a leading housing association in the Macclesfield area supporting clients experiencing homelessness, mental health, and substance misuse. This is a part time temporary role that could become a part time permanent role for the right person. Part‑time: 19 hours per week Rota-based Caseload: 4-5 clients, approx. 5 hours support each per week Support includes: appointments, welfare checks, tenancy-related support Become a Catalyst for Positive Change Empower individuals with complex needs to achieve their personal goals and live independently Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored support and advocacy Contribute to a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive community Preferred Requirements Experience in delivering support to people with complex needs, including negotiating and advocating on their behalf Ability to motivate service users to engage in support and personal development activities, while maintaining appropriate boundaries Skilled in working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to build effective partnerships with a wide range of agencies Proficient in accurately recording work, day-to-day interventions, and residents' progress Knowledgeable about the needs of people with complex needs, welfare benefits, and relevant support agencies A basic understanding of safeguarding and measures to report concerns Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively Candidates should have a current, Enhanced Adult DBS certificate.
