Responsibilities
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
* Develop and design menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
* Train and mentor kitchen personnel in cooking techniques, presentation, and service standards.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
* Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality before serving.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and supervision.
* Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
* Previous experience in menu planning and development is highly desirable.
* A passion for culinary arts with the ability to create innovative dishes that cater to diverse tastes.
