Hitachi Energy is looking to attract a professional with a proven track record in the execution of customer projects. Supporting and strengthening our team in Hitachi Energy UK within the area of Grid Automation (high & Medium voltage substations), you will be responsible for managing the entire project, which will include representing Hitachi Energy's commercial, contractual interests and managing all stakeholders (internal & external).
This exciting role would be best suited to a candidate with a background in engineering and demonstrable experience in project management, as well as the ability to plan and coordinate all project-related activities in pursuit of excellence.

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for implementing projects within the area of Substation Automation.
* Manage the assigned projects from the initial handover from Sales to the successful completion of all on-site work.
* Coordinate an international project team and oversee the efficient use of allocated resources.
* Act as the key point of contact, ensuring open and proactive communication to maximize customer satisfaction.
* Manage the customer contract and take full responsibility for all commercial and contractual aspects of the project.
Background:
* Technical qualifications in Electrical Engineering and business-related experience are required.
* Strong knowledge of fundamental power system design and operation.
* Knowledge of control & protection systems, IT systems, networking, virtualization, and cyber-security.
* Proven track record in project management and ability to integrate into the wider Hitachi Energy team.
* Certifications in Project Management (IPMA, PMI, or equivalent) are advantageous.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
