An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Clinical Service Manager to join a distinguished care home located in the Stourbridge, Dudley area. This role is with one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.
The care home specializes in providing temporary accommodation for respite and rehabilitation, maintaining the highest standards of care and support for older adults with dementia. The philosophy is to look beyond the illness and address the broader needs of each individual.
To be considered for this position, you must be a qualified Registered Nurse with a current, active NMC Pin.
Key responsibilities of the Clinical Service Manager include:
1. Utilize authentic leadership, role modeling, and inspirational skills to motivate the team to deliver excellent care quality.
2. Assume responsibility as the person in charge for the daily operations of the service, with 24-hour responsibility for the care of service users.
3. Manage resources effectively, including financial performance, and maintain high occupancy levels.
4. Promote independence and choice for service users.
5. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements, including CQC registration and inspection standards, and NMC guidelines.
Preferred skills and experience include:
1. Being a good role model, approachable, and maintaining visibility across all staff levels, demonstrating consistency in actions and decisions.
2. Setting and upholding clear standards of care aligned with Shaw Healthcare's vision, policies, and procedures.
3. Applying thorough employee selection processes and ensuring comprehensive onboarding of new staff.
4. Developing a culture of continuous quality improvement through clinical governance frameworks.
5. Experience overseeing a nursing service.
6. Experience managing a service of similar size and client group.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £53,898.96 per annum. This is a permanent full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week during day shifts. Benefits include:
