About the Team/Role
The Adult Social Care (ASC) Financial Support Services (FSS) Team are looking to appoint a Business Support Officer, to contribute to the excellent service delivery through allocation of referrals, prompt responses to customer/colleague queries and administrative duties.
The Financial Support Services Team is made up of three core teams:
* The Financial Assessment Team is responsible for conducting financial assessments with people who are eligible to receive Adult Social Care Services to determine the contribution an individual is required to make towards the cost of their care.
* The Direct Payments Team is responsible for administering and monitoring direct payments to people eligible to receive Adult Social Care Services.
* The Money Management Team provide essential support for individuals who are unable to manage their own finances.
This is an exciting time to join the team, following a recent restructure to expand the service and this vacancy has arisen due to an internal promotion.
We are looking to appoint a self-motivated, highly organised, and diligent individual, who embraces the opportunity to work independently whilst supporting the wider team achieve its objectives.
Knowledge of Adult Social Care and Bury ASC systems and procedures would be advantageous and confidence in liaising with customers and stakeholders is essential.
Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week. Flexitime scheme and agile working is operation and therefore you will be expected to work at least 2 days per week in the office, based at 6KP, to attend Team Meetings.
