Grade: D
Salary: £31,537 to £33,143 per annum, rising by annual increments to £33,143. More information on salaries and progression can be found on our pay and policies page.
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
Location: Dorchester Support Offices, Poundbury with flexibility to work from home / DWFRS Stations / Support Offices. Flexible working arrangements will be discussed with the successful candidate.

Responsibilities
* Manage the building defect rectification service, investigating and identifying suitable and effective repair options to ensure premises are fit for purpose, safe in use and support operational service delivery.
* Act as the main point of contact for the Estates Team for the building defect rectification service, providing advice, guidance and support to staff, contractors, consultants and suppliers.
* Administer budgets, prepare and place work orders with contractors, consultants and suppliers, and manage and audit invoices for payment.
Ideal candidate
* 4 GCSEs (A*-C/9-4) including English and Mathematics or equivalent Level 2 qualification (including L2 functional skills), or higher-level relevant qualification.
* Level 3 Property Management qualification or equivalent knowledge/experience.
* Experience of a wide range of administrative tasks in property management or reactive building maintenance.
Other information
* You must be able to fulfil travel requirements (occasional travel to Fire Stations across Dorset; attendance at team meetings across Dorset & Wiltshire). Car sharing may be possible.
