As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for defining the software architecture for a range of software products and software elements of multi-disciplinary products, mentoring more junior software engineers, and introducing key software working practices.
Responsibilities
* Embedded software for a range of real-time applications
* Front-end GUIs and HMIs on desktop
* Back-end data storage and processing
* Definition of interfaces between software elements (APIs) and over communications interfaces (protocols)
* Eliciting and recording requirements in conjunction with the wider engineering and market teams
Requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
* Proven software authoring and leadership experience
* Demonstrated track record of successfully developing complex software for both desktop and embedded platforms
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
* Experience in fast-paced R&D or startup environments, with rapid prototype iteration times
