Jamies Wine Bar on London Wall is currently recruiting a chef to work in our venue.
This is a full time position approximately 40-48 hours per week. Working hours will typically be Monday-Friday days plus 2-3 evenings.
This role would ideally suit an experienced Sous Chef. The kitchen is small and the role involves predominantly working alone therefore the menu is kept simple it offers a selection of bar snacks, sandwiches and hot simple classic dishes. Therefore the ideal candidate must be flexible in this position as they will be responsible for all food preparation, ordering and must ensure the kitchen is kept clean at all times, this means doing the dishes and working with the support of the General Manager to ensure good stock control and food margins.
We are looking for someone who wants to learn and is flexible in the duties of the role which varies subject to the needs of the business. The candidate must also have a sound knowledge of food Hygiene policies and procedures.
This position requires:
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* A full understanding of the English Language
* Flexibility and understanding.
