Known for high standards across their operation, they are continuing to invest in their workshop and are now looking to bring in an Early Shift Supervisor to support day-to-day fleet activities. The Role This is a hands-on position, split between the workshop and office, where youll take responsibility for planning and overseeing the early shift. Key responsibilities include: Planning daily workloads for the team and yourself Ensuring PMIs and MOT preparations are completed to a high standard Managing and resolving ad-hoc defects throughout the day Supporting parts ordering and stock requirements Liaising with third-party suppliers and booking external work Ensuring all paperwork and compliance documentation is completed accurately Communicating closely with the transport department regarding vehicle status Maintaining high Health & Safety standards at all times Compliance is absolutely key in this role. The Candidate Strong knowledge of HGVs and a variety of fleet vehicles Level 3 NVQ in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) Experience in a senior technician or supervisory role Highly organised with strong communication skills Comfortable with both hands-on work and admin responsibilities Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Active, practical approach to work Class 1 or Class 2 licence (desirable) Whats on Offer £22.85ph Monday to Friday (no weekends) 6am to 4pm 25 days holiday Death in service Stable, long-term opportunity If youre a senior HGV Technician ready to step up or an experienced Supervisor looking for a fresh challenge — this is a strong opportunity.
