Are you an organised, detail-oriented individual with a passion for supporting student success? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Accrington area to recruit a dedicated Exams Officer to join their team from September 2025.
This is an exciting temp-to-perm opportunity, offering the chance to become a key part of a thriving school community with a strong focus on achievement and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing the administration and smooth running of all internal and external examinations
* Liaising with exam boards, senior leaders, and teaching staff to ensure compliance with all JCQ regulations
* Organising exam timetables, rooming, invigilation, and secure storage of exam papers
* Supporting the data and assessment processes as required
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have previous experience in an Exams Officer or similar administrative role (education sector preferred)
* Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Demonstrate strong IT skills, particularly in MS Excel and database systems
* Be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
* Have a clear and current enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for one
