We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Coach to join our Physical Education (PE) Department on a fixed-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified individual who is passionate about sport and physical activity, and who thrives on inspiring and motivating young people.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the delivery of high-quality PE lessons and extracurricular sports activities across a range of age groups.
• Assist PE staff in planning, setting up, and delivering sports sessions both during the school day and as part of after-school clubs.
• Encourage participation in physical activity and support students in developing their skills, confidence, and teamwork.
• Contribute to the organisation and supervision of school sports events, fixtures, and competitions.
• Provide pastoral support and maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all students.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• A recognised coaching qualification in one or more sports.
• Experience working with children or young people in a coaching or educational setting.
• A genuine passion for sport, fitness, and youth development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a supportive and dynamic team.
• A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to the needs of the department and school.
