Bear Business Finance Ltd is hiring for a Junior Finance Broker to join their fast growing team. The role involves generating new business by outbound calls, outlining Bear Business Finances’ financial solutions to clients, and educating them on the benefits of asset finance and commercial loan funding. As part of the Centre of Excellence programme, you will work closely with the Director. Qualified opportunities are handed over to a Senior Finance Broker for completion.
Salary: A basic salary and commission totaling a first year OTE of £50,000 - £125,000 and second year up to £250,000.
Key Duties
* Generate a high level of new business by making outbound calls and building rapport with potential clients to support the mentor’s pipeline for fee earning revenue.
* Take a consultative approach, qualifying the customers’ requirements to understand their business finance needs and link them to Bear Business Finances’ solutions.
* Read and understand company financials, via online software and manual reading of business accounts; you will be trained on this.
* Compose proposal documentation and funder applications, including document gathering from clients and learning their business model.
* Continually and consistently generate a pipeline of leads for the Senior Finance Broker.
* Report directly to the Senior Finance Broker and respond to all requests in line with their position.
Qualifications and Attributes
The successful candidate must have charisma, charm and personality to build a strong telephone rapport. A sales process must be followed and is measured by internal KPI’s and SLA’s, so discipline and focus are required. Centre of Excellence
The Junior Finance Broker position is part of the Centre of Excellence programme, a long-term career strategy with the potential to develop into a fully fledged finance broker within 12 months (some brokers have completed this in 6 months). The programme provides:

* Close work with the Director.

* Market-leading commission structure on completion of Centre of Excellence.
* On completion, expected OTE of circa £250,000 per year from year 2 onwards.
