The Role
We’re looking for a talented Marketing Manager to join Howden on a fixed-term contract, supporting the continued growth of our Health & Care practice—a dynamic and rapidly expanding area of the business. This division provides tailored insurance solutions to a wide range of healthcare professionals and organisations, including doctors, therapists, hospitals, pharmacies, and care providers.
As part of our collaborative and fast-paced marketing team, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering impactful marketing campaigns that support strategic objectives, build brand awareness, and drive business growth. You’ll work closely with colleagues across marketing, the Health & Care team, our in-house creative agency, and external partners to bring campaigns to life.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Shaping and delivering the marketing strategy in collaboration with Health & Care practice leaders
* Managing multi-channel campaigns across digital, social, email, content, events, video, and traditional media
* Overseeing budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective campaign delivery
* Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, affinity partners, and industry contacts
* Tracking and analysing campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
* Creating marketing collateral and managing content production, including copywriting and agency liaison
* Producing engaging content such as articles, announcements, podcasts, videos, and email campaigns
* Supporting sponsored associations and service partners to deliver added value to their members
* Ensuring consistent and effective application of the Howden brand across all marketing outputs
Who We’re Looking For
* A strong marketing professional with experience managing integrated campaigns
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* A collaborative, agile team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
* Familiarity with design processes and tools (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop)
* Experience with CMS platforms, Google Analytics, and SEO best practices
* Confident in social media strategy and community engagement
Qualifications
* A background in Marketing, Business, English, or a related field is desirable
* Professional marketing qualifications (e.g. CIM) are advantageous
* Experience in the financial services or healthcare sectors is a plus, but not essential
