Pupils may have experienced trauma, social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), and may have previously been excluded from mainstream school. Role Overview
* Working hours 8.45am to 3.30pm
* Delivering engaging and accessible lessons tailored to individual needs
* Supporting students to rebuild confidence in literacy and communication
* Working closely with support staff to create a safe and structured learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
* Experience teaching English at secondary level
* Understanding of SEMH, trauma-informed practice or behaviour support
* Patient, resilient and passionate about inclusive education
* Strong ability to build positive relationships with students
