SEND Teaching Assistant - Islington, North London
£100 per day | Immediate Start | Ongoing until July 2026
SANZA Teaching Agency is currently working with a warm and inclusive primary school in Islington, seeking a reliable and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a great opportunity to become part of a supportive school community that places real emphasis on both pupil wellbeing and staff support.
Role Overview
* Start Date: Immediate (subject to clearance)
* Contract: Part-time/Full-time, up to 5 days per week
* Hours: 08:30am - 4:00pm
* Daily Rate: £100 (PAYE)
* Contract Length: Until July 2026, with the possibility of continuing into September
* Additional hours may be available through breakfast and after-school clubs
About You
* An experienced Teaching Assistant with strong classroom knowledge
* Confident supporting pupils with SEND, both 1:1 and in small groups
* Able to deliver interventions that support academic progress
* Comfortable working across the primary age range (EYFS to KS2)
* Proactive, flexible and able to adapt to different classroom needs
* Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
