Senior Logistics Coordinator
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £40,000 DOE
Contract: Initially 12 month FTC (Maternity Cover)
Our client is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their operations team on a maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong freight, shipping, or supply chain experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced international environment.
The Role:
1. Coordinate inbound shipments from suppliers to regional distribution hubs
2. Manage carrier performance, shipment tracking, and issue resolution
3. Support shipment planning in line with operational schedules
4. Ensure all shipping documentation and compliance processes are completed accurately
5. Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to manage timelines and resolve delays
6. Monitor logistics performance and identify opportunities for process improvements
7. Support reporting, workflow management, and operational planning activities
About You:
8. Previous experience within logistics, freight, supply chain, or operations coordination
9. Strong understanding of import/export processes and shipment management
10. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
11. Strong Excel and systems skills
12. Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
13. High attention to detail and strong communication skills
14. Italian language skills are advantageous but not essential
