About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their service, installation, and maintenance team. You will deliver both planned and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial heating and hot water systems. This is a varied role covering gas, oil, plumbing, ventilation, and wider plantroom maintenance works.
Key Responsibilities
* Planned and reactive maintenance on commercial heating and hot water boilers
* Servicing and maintenance of package burners
* Testing and purging of gas installation pipework
* Maintenance of associated systems including pumps, valves, fans, and controls
* Domestic and commercial boiler and plant room installations
* Installation using soldered, press-fit, and screwed steel pipework systems
* Small-scale installation wiring and electrical fault finding
* Supporting wider plantroom maintenance including plumbing and ventilation works
Essential Requirements
* Full clean UK driving licence
* Enhanced DBS check
* Gas qualifications (minimum required):
* Domestic: CCN1, CENWAT, CKHB1, DAH1, HTR1
* Commercial: COCDN1, CIGA1, CORT1, CPA1, DAH1, xsngvjr ICPN1, HTR1, TPCP1, CONGLP1PD (LPG Changeover)
* City & Guilds Level 3 Plumbing (preferred minimum)
* Unvented Hot Water (G3) certification
* Willingness to travel when required
* Willingness to stay away from home (with notice)
Salary / Package
* 45-50k + OT (55-60k)
